Buyer's Guide

Find the safe that matches your needs.

Senator-InSitu_safe selectror

Don't know anything about safes? Let the buyer's guide support you to find the safe that fits to your needs.

What do you want to protect?
Cash ? This includes safes, cabinets, vaults & vault doors, designed to withstand physical attacks in different strengths or Grades. Each Grade represents a particular “cash rating” which is the amount an insurer will cover.
Documents ? To survive a fire, documents require protection from temperatures higher than 177°C. Therefore, cabinets must be specifically designed, tested and then certified for this task. Without a credible certification, you cannot be sure that your documents are safe.
Data media ? Just like for documents, the same is valid for data media, except here the cabinet must offer much greater protection due to the sensitivity of the material. If the inside of the cabinet exceeds a mere 55°C, then the information on a CD, DVD or tape will be destroyed.
Collectables ? Choose this criteria if you’re looking for a safe storage to securely store collectables like stamp albums, coins, watches, etc. that require a respective fire protection.
Jewellery ? This includes safes, cabinets, vaults & vault doors, designed to withstand physical attacks in different strengths or Grades. Each Grade represents a particular “valuables rating” which is the amount an insurer will cover.
Other valuables ? Choose this criteria if you would like to protect other valuables, like business-critical products such as pharmaceutical products that need to be securely locked away or valuables that may require a higher storage capacity.

Insurance amounts vary from country to country from 2,000 to around 1.2 million EUR for cash or valuables. In some countries an additional protection with an intruder alarm system is a prerequisite for obtaining a certain insurance value.
