FIRE FILES
Today, storage space for files and other documents is difficult to come by in most offices. Even when space is available, files are often left unprotected from the threat of fire. Important documents, valuable objects, archives, and even some electronic devices can be a challenge to adequately secure. Fires that result in the destruction of business records and paperwork can spell disaster for many organisations and, in some cases, bankruptcy.
Chubbsafes’ fire files offer a variety of reliable and efficient storage solutions with the added benefit of fire resistance from one to two hours. Each range of filing cabinets has been carefully tested to simulate the impact of a real-life fire to ensure you can breathe easy knowing your files are safe in the event of a major incident. A fire endurance testย is carried out to simulate the searing temperatures of a real office fire. This is achieved by heating a safe in a furnace to temperatures around 1000หC.
The fire resistant cabinets are also certified by a neutral certification body. For insurance purposes, certification is a reliable and objective basis for risk calculation. Chubbsafes undergo rigorous tests carried out by independent test institutes that are among the most experienced bodies to ensure that the testing and certification processes are carried out correctly by a trusted and credible organization.
Chubbsafes’ range of fire files meet the established international standards, offering authentic and trustworthy solutions. All our products are tested and certified by independent and reliableย expert laboratoriesย to meet your needs and offer the best fire resistant cabinets for your valuable documents and belongings.ย
