AUDIT TRAIL |
The lock can give a report (it will vary in detail from model to model) of usage and may show times of operation, codes used, and operations performed. |

CERTIFIED SAFE |
Most safes sold under Chubbsafes brand have undergone rigorous burglary, fire tests and sometimes explosive. When a safe passes these tests, it becomes certified, and the highest level of certified safes are called high-graded safes. |

CLEARANCE |
Space needed for the leaf to be able to move. |
|
|
|
|
DEPOSIT / DROP SAFE |
High-security solution for depositing and storing cash, valuables and documents for bank or retail environments. |
|
|
|
|
DOOR CLOSER |
Mechanism used to automatically close the door quickly, slowing the door's movement in the final phase. It can be of standard arm or slide channel type. |

|
|
|
DOORSET |
Assembly consisting of the door frame and leaf, together with the hardware (handle, lock, hinges, etc.). |
|
|
|
|
DUAL CONTROL |
Allows two users to enter their details before any operation can be performed. |

|
|
|
ELECTRONIC LOCK |
An electronically operated keypad lock with a changeable combination. |

FIRE FILES |
Most cabinets sold under Chubbsafes brand have undergone rigorous fire tests. When a cabinet passes these tests, it becomes certified. |

HIGH-SECURITY LOCK |
Certified high-security electronic lock for safes, vaults and doors, that has undergone extensive testing including manipulation test. |

|
HINGE |
Mobile and adjustable mechanism that connects the leaf to the door frame and enables it to be rotated. It can be double or triple bladed. |

KEY LOCK |
A manual key operated lock. |

LEFT-HAND DOOR
|
In accordance with the EN 12519 standard, the left door is the door that is pulled towards the left/pushed towards the right. It is the door, which is opened by a rotational movement, with the hinges on the left-hand side when the user is looking at it from the opening side. |

MECHANICAL COMBINATION |
A mechanical keyless dial lock with a changeable combination. |

|
|
NUMBERS OF USERS |
The number of users able to program in their own access code. |

PANEL |
Component which serves as the frame's central panel. It can be solid or glass. |

RIGHT-HAND DOOR |

TIME DELAY |
This feature allows for a pre-set delay between operating the lock and being able to open the safe. The operation may vary between lock types. |
